Before your studio session
What are your opening hours?
The office is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30 am to 5.00 pm. We are closed on Sunday and Monday, excet for Sunday studio sessions.
What if I am unable to make my appointment for any reason?
Should it become necessary to change your studio or viewing appointment we require a minimum 5 days’ notice or a rebooking charge of £20 may be incurred as we are unable to fill appointments at such short notice.
How long does a studio session last?
Each studio session lasts about 45 minutes and begins with a short discussion with your photographer, an ideal opportunity to mention any particular image you wish to achieve, or if you have any concerns or requests. During your session we will make suggestions on how to sit and stand and move in order to achieve natural, relaxed results. Our many years of experience mean that we can make the necessary lighting changes with speed and efficiency, all you need to do is relax and enjoy yourselves.
How many photographs will you take?
This may range from 80 to 100 or more depending on the size of your group. We will photograph groups, individuals, different combinations of people and any special ideas you may have. When we have a good selection of images we will make you an appointment to return to view the results, usually about a week later, so it does help to bring your diaries.
Your viewing
When can we see the results?
Usually about a week later. Viewing sessions last up to an hour and in the time between your studio session and viewing we will have selected about 20-30 images and prepared a slideshow for you with some unique designs. It does help if you have an idea when you come to the viewing of what would best suit your requirements and your home.If possible, it is best for you not to bring small children as the room is dark in order to show you your images and they will soon become bored. However, if you don’t have the choice, you are most welcome to bring them.
When will my portraits be ready?
It really depends upon what you order. Some images may be ready within about four weeks but if you order a custom framed portrait, the order should be ready within six weeks.
Can I pay by credit?
Yes, we accept most major credit or debit cards. When spending over £400 you can spread the cost, interest free, over an agreed period of time.
Can you make me look my best?
We always aim to capture your character and youthfulness, whatever your age. With the help of digital enhancement we are experts at subtly removing blemishes, minimising wrinkles and whitening teeth. If there is anything extra you need, just let us know!
How long do you keep the images?
We will keep the images you purchase at your viewing for about six months. Other images may be deleted at any time at our discretion as archival space is required.
